Deceased's phone locked

Hello, my coworker's daughter has been deceased and she is having difficulties getting her phone reset. She had a laptop I was able to factory reset with a USB and clean wipe it, and now she wants me to do the same with her Z Flip 5 os 13.

I factory reset, cleared cache, and tried to reset, but it wants me to sign into the daughter's google account that we dont have access to.

The mom just wants the phone wiped so she can use it, she doesnt need any of the stuff off of it.

I saw passfab is a way around it but everyone says its a scam so I dont want to give it money. I see some people recommending Hashcat as a free alternative, but I would appreciate any tips on how I would go about using it, or if there is a better software for getting around that sign-in. She bought the phone from Google online in the past, not sure if there is just a Google store to take it to as a better option.

Thanks! You would make an older mother's day! She was in tears just to be able to use the laptop again!
