Hi all,
Got a CMOS battery die on my from a pc that I use as a workstation to run analysis software on. Got it at a liquidation.
But due to that battery I got the BitLocker as a gift. Managed to get in contact with the former company and received the TPM pin.
So now I am able to get to the login screen on Windows 10 but since the pc was part of a domain that no longer exists I am unable to log in.
Received the password for a possible local account but so far no luck.
There's a screen that says other user and when I click it it shows Log in to:"username" but returns wrong credentials.
So now I am stuck. Really need the software on the machine because it contains a license file.
Since it's possible to unlock the drive with the pin, what other options are there? It's an intel 8th gen so TPM on board.
I'm open to suggestions.
