Hi all,
I've just been sorting out my work folder, deleting all unnecessary crap from 10+ years ago that I no longer need to keep.
In that context I've stumbled across my payslips from 2012, which are password protected pdf documents, whereas the password is my national registration number in Norway.
I can open all but the first document - at that time my ID application was still processing, and I had a temporary one issued, that was eventually replaced with the permanent number which works as password from the second file onward.
The company is now defunct, so I can't contact anybody there, and it appears as if I don't have a record of that temporary number.
Out of curiosity I was thinking about cracking the code, but before I go through all the hassle of setting it up, I was wondering if anyone here could give me a time estimate?
I know it is a 11 digit password, numbers only, and I'm doing this whole thing on a Thinkpad X1 with 16GB RAM. No standalone desktop PC with powerful GPU I'm afraid.
Cheers!
