JLR’s supply chain is in chaos after a massive cyber attack forcing the company to shut down IT systems and halt production.
Workers are being laid off with little or no pay and told to apply for Universal Credit, while calling on the government to step in with support. Disruptions could last for months, costing JLR around £50m a week. A criminal investigation is under way.
Personally, I can’t help but suspect someone like Elon Musk might be behind an attack of this scale. This is a combination of Tesla sales dropping significantly in the UK, his fascination with the EDL movement and the recent state banquet hosted for Trump. As well as King Charles, PM Starmer, big tech CEOs (Apple, Nvidia, etc.) attended. Furthermore an on-going US/UK trade is underway to help boost more jobs. It sounds like Musk was NFI’ed a long time ago.
