I worked under contract for a big company a few years ago. They loaned me a mid2018 MBP. We did not part ways on the best terms. They were supposed to send me a box to return it and they never did.
My experience with them was poor and I wasn't about to go out of my way to get it back to them. I figured they'd reach out sooner or later.
It's been over 2 years and I'm sick of looking at it. I've forgotten my password. I called the number on the back and it is out of service. I reached out to a few folks I knew there. One didn't get back to me, the other is a consultant who said he contacted the help desk, but I haven't heard from them.
I can't just throw it in the trash. What do I do?
