Beef username and password

Hi I am new to beef. I downloaded parrot OS recently and I want to learn different programs. I can't log into beef. I've tried the default beef/beef username and password. Ive also tried viewing the config.yaml file. It says that I don't have permission to view it. I thought the UID and PID would be the username and password. It did not work. Any suggestions?
