Recently someone attempted to hack our server. It started with tens of thousands of fake entries on our contact form. And later thousands of JSON requests coming from a few different IP ranges, mostly with user agent = unknown. Now they seem to be attempting to access many different file directories, some which exist and some which don't.
The first thing we did was to implement captchas for all of these IP ranges in cloudflare, and to set the security setting to High. But it doesn't seem to be helping.
What else should we do to stop the attack?
