I’ve tried to learn how to do this on my own, my MySpace coding experience just isn’t holding up to be able to figure this out. I’ve spent too many days barely involved with my family trying to get into my locked apple notes, the feeling of being so close…. It’s just a few more tries away…
I have tried to brute force attack on my own using various combinations of the words I think are in the password. There’s 3 words max, one being “and” which may not have been used so possibly even only 2 words. Just nicknames of my kids but I don’t know which ones and what variations. Nothing has worked. I’ve used ChatGPT to make lists for me and I copy/paste to try and eliminate the human error of typing to password wrong. I’ve easily tried 300+ combinations.
A friend of a friend has offered to help me. The info in my notes aren’t anything someone could use to gain over me like passwords or bank info, just personal things that I hold dearly. I tried to find the answer but couldn’t find exactly what I’m looking for. What is the bare bones of info I need to share with the person helping? Can I send just the whole notestore or will they gain access to everything like my MacBook and iCloud and I just have to hope for the best that they really only wanted to help me? I have the note store, but my MacBook is so old I can’t even use most programs because it’s so out of date for updates.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, please don’t tear into me for asking this, I’m pretty desperate to get back to my notes.
