Have I been phished with /s/ in reddit link?

I received a text from an old friend with a reddit link and without thinking about it, I clicked it. Responded, received nothing back - no big deal, whatever.

He does have a sneaky past and today I noticed the /s/ in the link below, so I opened it in a sandbox and received the reddit white-hat robot stating "You've been blocked by network security"

https://www.reddit.com/r/<subreddit>/s/<10 random letters>

When manually going to the subreddit - the post still exists.

Was the phishing link deleted after I fell for whatever trap?

I searched for reddit "/s/", but can't find anything.

Really hoping to learn more
