What interested you in hacking?

Good day to all,

I’ve been tasked with writing a paper for one of my courses. Part of this assignment is gathering information about the various motivations and stories behind how different people got into hacking and cybersecurity (I chose the topic of hacking/cybersecurity because of my interest in it).

So if you guys don’t mind, I would love to get some of your stories and what interested you/lead you into getting into hacking. For example, when did you start becoming interested in it and what caused said interest? What makes you so passionate about it? Be as detailed as you want!
