I've read some great books on mathematicians that showed how they solved problems. Are there any books/videos on hackers working through a problem?

I'm fascinated by great problem solvers, I've read a lot about mathematicians and how they broke down a problem to solve a larger one.

Are there any books or videos you've seen that broke down how someone solved a hugely complex problem just to see their thinking?
