A forum is identifying me somehow (VPN doesn’t work). How to workaround this to be a ghost?

It’s just a basic forum. Somehow they’re linking me to prior accounts, beyond simply IP address. This angers me and I wish to workaround this, just for the sake of doing so.

Does anyone know how?
