Hashcat uses CPU and cannot read .cap file

Hi y'all, I grew increasingly tired of my CPU taking ages to decrypt a single WPA hash, so everyone told me to use Hashcat because it decrypts using the GPU and is (supposed to be) much faster. I'm pretty new to this whole decryption thing, so those might be dumb questions but: - Why is Hashcat using my CPU instead of the GPU? - Why do I get a Separator unmatched Err for every single line?
