Botnet Malware Dropper

Hey everyone,

So, I'm writing a paper on a botnet malware dropper that will be deployed through a dropped USB as a part of a school project. I'm well ahead into the project, but I'm curious as to know which software you lots would use, and how you'd control the host it infects upon insertion. For the sake of the project, there's no antivirus and only a UAC in place.

I've googled around a little and I find a vast ocean of information, but I'm all in all asking for help to narrow it down by asking for what you folks would do and use. :)
