Not sure if this is the right subreddit for this, but I just got a rather creepy crush confession text from an unfamiliar number that knew personal information about me, like my name and religion. It doesn't seem like a traditional scam, and I'm sufficiently disturbed by how much information it had to just ignore it. If this isn't the right subreddit, could someone please direct me to a someplace that could help? I tried a bunch of online options and apps but they all wanted me to pay, and I didn't know what was legit and what wasn't. Thanks in advance!
