study partner and teacher

so i’m learning hacking, well attempting really. my main problem is that i honestly have know the point, exactly why it’s useful, and the context for me to actually absorb the information. otherwise i’m just reading shit and zoning out of i don’t know what it’s for. so i think it would be really helpful to have ppl to study/learn with for both accountability and understanding. i’d also like someone who’s an experienced hacker to give me an overview of things and point me in a practical direction
