Possible to swap internals on BT keyboard?

I'll try to keep this short. Basically I bought this BT keyboard from goodwill for $3 because it has BT and IR capabilities. It was $3 so what the hell right? However after getting home and doing research I found that it is not compatible with very many devices. My question is, is it possible to swap the internals to make this compatible with more devices or is there anything I can do to improve it? The mousepad and buttons on the right do not work at all. Another reason I bought this is because after buying my flipper I thought it would be a cool project to tinker with and learn a few things. Any info helps.
