Going through my Dad's things after his unexpected death at 56. He had no will. I've found he had been badly scammed with a shares escrow scam he took out a loan to fund. It seems his life insurance defaulted when he missed a payment and going through his emails he was so desperate to find a quick fix. now I found he has a cryptosbid account he poured his pension money into. All the email communication to him were just zoom links. I've not received one reply from cryptosbid.com the website looks terrible and the chat function doesn't work. All his devices had anydesk installed which is a telltale sign. I p addresses of the trading platform and 'dashboard' are all 'high risk' Is there anything I can do to recover his money so he can have a funeral?
Or am I screwed?
Dad was never this careless with money it hurts to imagine how devastating it must have been and he told nobody.
