I had this rather talkative and eccentric middle aged Uber driver claim that in the 90s, he and some other guys hacked AOL office headquarters. He said they delivered computer mice to the office that deployed malware when plugged into computers. To what end they hacked AOL I don’t know.
Have any of you heard this story before? It seems rather implausible to me.
