Hey, everyone. First post. I'm sorry if I've broken some rules or if this is in the wrong place. I was browsing the internet, and admittedly I was looking for some sketchy person connected to MOSSAD (allegedly). While browsing I got a notif that was telling me the "OPEN" login item was now running in the background, but I didn't take any action to make that happen. I've also never seen it before. I turned it off immediately, and haven't really done much but look through Activity Monitor for something sketchy... but like, it's impossible to know. There are a LOT of things running and 99% look normal. Has anyone seen this background login item? The image is an actual screenshot. Is this a RAT on my machine I picked up from searching for a sketchy guy or is it normal? In a decade of using MACs I've never seen this. I'm concerned. My machines hold pretty sensitive stuff. Any help is appreciated. For clarity, this is in usr/bin path. [link] [comments] |
