Someone I don’t know has acquired private pictures of me and has threatened to “expose me” unless I send $1,000. I refused and they sent these private photos to people I know personally. Is it against the rules of this sub to ask where to hire someone who can help identify this person through their instagram and/or Snapchat accounts? or is this against the law? I live in the US but I don’t think the person behind the account does. I don’t want to do anything malicious, I just want to take the information to authorities. Please help.
