Hide IP when using NetCat listener

Hey, how its going?

I am practicing ethical hacking (legally and using equipment that I own) and today I was wondering if it is possible to use NetCat in listening mode without being traceable by IP, I tried it with DDNS, SOCKS proxy and VPN but since I need to listen on a port, I cannt do it with proxy and VPN, and if I use a DDNS, when I ping it, it reveals my public IP.

(The challenge is not using a VPS, since I could connect to the VPS via SSH and run NetCat on it, but the idea is to do it from a personal computer)

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
