A friend told me about some malware that inserted cookies into people’s browsers that were affiliate cookies. Like someone had an amazon.com 24 hour affiliate link cookie inserted everyday by this malware and other sites so that whenever someone purchased goods the hackers were paid. Does anyone have a link to a story like this. He said it was “something he remembers hearing”. Would love to read more about it
