Looking at the Russian Ukrainian war, and the direct hacking happening against the two countries, I think there are going to be powerful mercenary hacker groups that for a price will work for almost anyone, essentially Blackwater (soldiers for hire) for hackers.
Before the war, hacker groups attacking countries was rare and mostly indirect. Most often one state would attack another, even so...they pretended they weren't. Do you think the war will lead to a world where hacking is more open and states are hacked directly because we have a "proof of concept" of a state being targeted looks like?
