Our office sent an email saying we all need to watch how much we are texting, on social media or even watching videos while at our cubicles. I know that no one would snitch over someone checking social media or texting, so there has to be another source monitoring this activity. Besides monitoring through their WiFi, are there other ways an office can get into employees’ phones to see what they’re doing? Are they allowed to do this? Hardly anyone even uses their WiFi… so how is this being done?
