WPScan can't resolve data.wpscan.org*** on closed network

I'm using an offline hacking lab to practice - using VirtualBox locked down in DHCP, I've installed WPScan locally to my VM but it's still trying to resolve an external host to run. Any assistance would be great (or am I in the wrong sub for questions like this?)
