I’ve always wondered how do they hack people in other countries.

Everytime I hear about Russian hackers I’m like how tf did they hack a pipeline here in America. Could someone please explain? They’re no where near the wifi.

P.S This isn’t limited to just Russian hackers, like in general how does this happen.
