My friend was working on her laptop just a second ago, then her screen turned to black and then windows said there was an error with the disk drive, that it might take several hours to fix (this was a legit looking screen from windows).
After 1 minute the computer started up again and once she signed in her background was changed to a goddamned elephant penis picture. So we assumed she got hacked, maybe downloaded something.
Could this be possible? If so, what should we do? What should we assume?
Important update: It was our stupid friend (he likes pranks), he changed the background yesterday when the laptop was open, then he re-opened all the windows, she never closes those, so she didn't see the background until now, when the disk thing happened. God damn it Jack!!
I'm sorry for wasting time but I actually learned a lot.
