I’m pretty shook, is there something I did wrong

I’m playing an online game (red dead redemption 2) and meet a hacker, he kills me, and then leaves me alone after I respawn. The I think he is gone, until i hear him key his mic, and list my full real name, age and address. WTF just happened, and how can I keep this from happening
