How do I start hacking on hackerone?

I signed up on hackerone and have a kali box with a bunch of sweet tools that I am somewhat familiar with.

How do I start hacking legally. Do just have to change my user agent to identify myself? Do I have to contact the company and let them know?

I want to make sure I am doing everything legally so the police don’t raid my house😂
